These files were at the Jaffna Kachcheri. They were first examined by Mr. R.G. Anthonisz, late 1ste Govr. Archivist in the year 1906 (see his report dated 23rd January 1906 in C.S.O. Case no. 1946/1906), and later transferred to the Government Archives in the year 1911 (see C.S.O, Case no. 18110/1911).
